Honey, have you seen the the plunger?

I thought you might be interested in this article from the UK. You can view it here.

I thought the article about the vicar who fell on a potato while hanging curtains in the nude was odd but this is really strange. In the E.R. no matter how much trouble it was you had to turn a patient over and look at their whole naked body. A trauma surgeon told me once "you never know when some guy will have a knife in his ass". Glass and plastic and wood don't show up on x-ray. Someone could at a minimum have stuck a finger in her wound to see if a Swiffer was up there. I see this a lot; doctors and nurses don't want to get their hands dirty.

This is socialized medicine in action. The doctor probably spent about two minutes with her and had no incentive to pursue her complaints; she was just another drunk that fell in the bathroom. Now "I'm not a doctor" but it seems to me that anyone in the U.S. who complains about pelvic pain for months will get an exploratory surgery. I wonder if this couple ever wondered what happened to their toilet brush? National Health Service, the standard of medical excellence, and it's coming to a hospital near you.

I read that article earlier today and thought the same thing: socialized medicine. What kind of medical care is this?

Probably the doctor typed pelvic pain into his his "Sharia Health Care" computer and toilet brush wasn't one of his options.

Frightening to say the least.
